Oh gosh, Deb...

How the hell do you link to images when you post a journal?! I want to link to some wallpapers I made, but I want to link them as a thumbnail...if that makes sense. So they would be small in the post but you press them and a new window comes up with them full size. But I have no idea how to do it!! How do you post your wallpapers? And, if I choose to post to a community, will it ONLY post there or will it be on my normal journal aswell, as a default?

Ok, I know, Lj is very confusing at first. But I'm here to help youuuu!

Let's see, to post a wallpaper, you click on update journal, it leads you to a page where you can write your entries and stuff. Well, on the editor, you have an option to post pics. You click on the button with an image and a windows pops up, select "Load" and you can load an image from your computer. Once it's uploaded, and once you click ok, you'll see it automatically makes a thumbnail of your pic. If you want to change the size of the thumb, you select the image, click on the same button you clicked to post the pic, and change the size.

To post in a community, I suggest you to post the entry on your journal, and then, you go to the community you want, and post a entry with a link to the enry on your journal. In example, I post 30 icons at my journal, you know I post a preview of 3 icons before the lj-cut, well, when I post in a com, I post those three icons and then a link to the entry in my journal. That way, every comment will go to your journal.

Mmmm I don't know if all that was of any help haha, but feel free to ask if you have any doubt or question.

Btw, just in case, here you are the faq of How to use a lj-cut (to hide part of the entries)?, for example if you're posting 100 icons, you don't want the 100 of them to appear on the main page. I didn't know how to make a lj-cut when I made my Lj...
